Why not more use of B.C.’s wind energy?

Editor, The News:

I am disappointed that B.C.’s incredible offshore wind energy resources have not yet been developed.

B.C. has some of the best offshore wind energy sites in the world, but the clean, renewable energy these sites could be producing is literally blowing past us.

With cost-effective clean energy so urgently needed in North America, can we afford to let B.C.’s vast renewable energy resources go unused?

B.C. could supply clean energy to other parts of this continent and replace the coal-fired electricity often used.

So where is the call to arms that can make this happen?

The environmental benefits are obvious.  The economic benefits could be even greater if we capitalize on the incredible, renewable energy resources B.C. has in abundance.
