You could give up Christmas?

Inestimable to calculate the good informed Christians have done and are doing around the world today

Re: One does not have to be Christian to do good (Letters, Dec. 19).

Dr. Marco Terwiel is correct. Also it is agreed much harm has been done by misguided people in the name of Christ, which He would have abhorred. But it is inestimable to calculate the good informed Christians have done and are doing around the world today.

Dec. 25th on the calender is referred to as Christmas Day, a paid, statutory, holiday. For some who resent celebrating the holiday for what it represents, perhaps they can give up their holiday and extra pay in protest.
