Reason for Applying: I only have energy at work. I feel tired in the evenings and weekends, and sit a lot, then eat. These days I feel uncomfortable bending to tie my shoes and my whole body feels flabby and unhealthy. Even though I am not obese, when I am sitting my stomach sticks out as far as my boobs, and I have upper arm flab and "back fat." I keep saying I will start swimming again, but it hasn't happened. I will be 45 on June 8th, the final days of this challenge. I want to challenge myself to make healthier food choices including more vegetables and fruits and less carbohydrates and refined sugars. I also drink beer and wine far more regularly than I used to, to "relax." But drinking during the week and weekends seems to have taken its slow but unhealthy hold on my health priorities.
