Organizers noted that the cost of the wrestling program is not covered by schools, and most often athletics activities are paid for by parents.

“This show is a fundraiser to make sure that any child who wants to wrestle on the team will not need to ask mom or dad for a tremendous amount of money that they really can not afford,” said a spokesman with All-Star Wrestling.

“Our goal for this show is to let the City of Maple Ridge know that our kids come first and in return we promise to leave you on the edge of your seat with some fantastic family friendly action.

Disco Fury will be the host.

“Disco hails from the town where legends are born and bred – Maple Ridge, British Columbia and is very proud to say that everywhere he has wrestled in the world he was announced from such.”

His skills in the ring and his magneti...c personality propelled him into an aggressive schedule which has included appearances in all corners of North America including multiple appearances for the WWE, TNA Impact Wrestling, Hulk Hogan’s Micro Championship Wrestling and more.

In fact, During his career he has had the opportunity to work with and alongside some of the biggest names in the sport including Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and countless others. A testament to his place in the wrestling industry, in June 2014, Sampson was awarded with distinction by the wrestling industry at an event in Las Vegas hosted by the hardcore legend Terry Funk and legendary four Horsemen manager, J.J. Dillon.
