The Ridge Meadows Burrards midget A1 team took the bronze medal at the B.C. Lacrosse Association provincial box lacrosse championships in Campbell River over the weekend.

There were 24 midge teams from across the province competing in four divisions.

The Ridge midgets blasted Saanich 12-4 in the consolation game.

Nate Faccin of the Burrrards was chosen as one of the six players on the midget A1 provincial all-star team.

His teammate Jadden Schellauf was selected as one of the six winners of the Midge A1 Warrior Fair Play Awards

The midget A1 Coquitlam Adanacs beat the Langley Thunder 8-4 in the gold medal match; the A2 title went to Semiahmoo Rock after a 9-2 victory over Kelowna Kodiaks. Burnaby Lakers edged the Vancouver-Killarney 6-5 for the Midget B gold and in the C final, Cranbrook outscored Cowichan Valley 10-1 for the gold medal.
