Flames fall in Game 2 to Aldergrove

Game 3 is Sunday at Planet Ice in Maple Ridge, 3:45 p.m.

The Ridge Meadows Flames dropped the second game of their second-round, junior B playoff series Friday at Planet Ice, 6-3 to the Aldergrove Kodiaks.

The Flames trailed 2-1 after the first period and 5-2 after the second. Aldergrove added one more in the third.

The Kodiaks won the opening game of the series 4-1 Wednesday.

Game 3 is Sunday at Planet Ice in Maple Ridge, 3:45 p.m.

In the regular season, Alergrove led the Harold Brittain Conference with 72 points, 24 more than the Flames.
