Win one, lose one – that’s how it’s been going for the Ridge Meadows Flames.
Last Thursday night they beat the Mission City Outlaws 2-1 at the Mission Leisure Centre. Michael Bell and Jake Holland both scored, and Dale Howell had two assists. Tyler Read was peppered for 36 shots and was all but perfect.
Friday they were blasted 8-0 by the Aldergrove Kodiaks, and were outshot 50-11 in the game.
Aldergrove had 13 power plays in the game, and scored on four. The Flames had just two power plays.
The Flames sit at 16-16-3-2, have compiled 37 points in 37 games, and have just seven games left in the regular season.
That starts tonight when the host the Delta Ice Hawks, who have been beatable this year, and have a record of 21-15-2-1
