The Ridge Meadows Flames gave up five third-period goals and suffered a 7-2 loss to the Pilots on Friday at MSA Arena in Abbotsford.

Halen Cordoni and Paul Georgeopolous scored for the local junior B club, while Ryan Crosby-Jones had two assists.

The Flames sit in third place in the Harold Brittain Conference with a record of 16-14-2-2.

The Flames were back in action on Tuesday night, when they faced the Delta Ice Hawks in Ladner. Their next home game will be Friday, when they host the Pacific Junior Hockey League’s frontrunning Aldergrove Kodiaks, who boast a record of 27-6.
