The eighth annual Fund Run in support of Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation takes place this Sunday
The race gets underway from Fairview Elementary School, at 12209 206th Street in Maple Ridge at 9 a.m. sharp.
The run features both a 5 km walk/run, or a more challenging 10 km run.
The 5-km route is flat and comfortable and travels through the peaceful surrounding neighbourhoods. The flat and fast 10-km route travels to the scenic dykes of Maple Ridge and back. Both routes start and finish at Fairview Elementary.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation. This year, Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation has committed to raise over $800,000 to provide health care equipment, fund new programs in the community that encourage healthy living, and provide education opportunities for our medical staff.
