The Maple Ridge Burrards open their Western Lacrosse Association season on Sunday.
They will take on the Langley Thunder at 6:45 p.m. at Planet Ice.
The Burrards have a new coaching staff, headed by Rob Williams.
They will have an elite goaltending tandem in Frankie Scigliano and Charles Claxton.
They also welcome local boy Luke Gillespie, who was acquired in an off-season trade with the New Westminster Salmonbellies. He will add offence, supporting Dan Taylor, Ben McIntosh.
