One of Maple Ridge’s young lacrosse stars hit a major milestone over the weekend.

Ella Todd scored the 100th point of her NCAA career, and there are many more to come for the sophomore with the Newberry Wolves.

Todd had 35 goals and 52 points in 18 games last season, and is having another great campaign. She has 30 goals and 49 points in 14 games, and a combined 101 points for her career.

Todd passed the 100-point waypost as her Wolves blasted the Mars Hill Lions on Saturday, by a score of 20-4, and the Ridge girl had four goals and three assists in the game.

Todd, a five-foot-two attacking player who graduated from Maple Ridge Secondary, played for the Ridge Meadows Burrrards and Team BC, and was named to the All-Conference Team in 2023.
