George Cubiss of the Maple Ridge Lawn Bowling Club will compete at the national senior men’s triples championships in Dartmouth, N.S. later this month.
Cubiss and his teammates – skip David Mathie and lead Harry Harrison – earned gold at the provincials, held at the Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Club.
The nationals are Aug. 25.
Cubiss and his teammates also won the B.C. men’s triples title at the Victoria Lawn Bowling Club and starting Monday are in Edmonton for the national majors.
