Maple Ridge rink offers free curling on Saturday

Golden Ears Winter Club has its open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Golden Ears Winter Club is inviting curling novices and enthusiasts alike to come play for free at the open house event on Saturday, Dec. 9.

This drop-in event will take place at the Maple Ridge rink from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Even if someone isn’t familiar with the sport of curling, there will be coaches to provide training and guidance throughout the entire event.

All equipment will be provided to the players, with only a clean pair of runners being required.

Anyone interested in some free curling can stop by the Golden Ears Winter Club, 23580 Jim Robson Way, on Saturday.
