Maple Ridge golfer Keanna Mason and Team B.C. finished the 2012 Girls’ Junior America’s Cup in 11th place after slipping from ninth in the final round of play on Thursday.

The competition features 18 teams from across North America. It was Hawaii who took home the America’s Cup, finishing the three-day team event at an even-par 648. In the tournament’s four-person team format, the top three scores are carded at the end of each day.

Mason had rounds of 76, 78, and 84 at the world famous Wailea Golf Club Gold Course, the former home of the PGA’s Champions Skins Game.

Alongside Mason on Team B.C. was Grace Chua of White Rock, Alix Kong of West Vancouver, and Naomi Ko of Victoria.
