There are once again two soccer associations serving Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.

There are once again two soccer associations serving Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.

The  new Albion FC soccer association was in limbo, as the Alouette District, which oversees the soccer in the two communities and Mission, took its case against the new club to the Canadian Soccer Association.

With the club’s future hanging in the balance, the national body governing amateur soccer denied the appeal, and upheld a decision by B.C. Soccer to allow Albion FC to come into existence.

The new club is splintered from the West Coast Auto Group FC, which is one of the largest soccer associations in the province.
