Pitt Meadows hosts Junior Air Show

The Pitt Meadows Marauders junior boys basketball team hosted the Junior Air Show, and made it into Saturday night’s championship game.

The Pitt Meadows Marauders junior boys basketball team hosted the Junior Air Show, and made it into Saturday night’s championship game.

Pitt lost to Lord Tweedsmuir 58-43 in the final after defeating Vancouver College and Collingwood.

Tweedsmuir is ranked in the top three in B.C. and has been at the top.

“They are very tough, smooth and polished,” said Pitt coach Rich Goulet. “Our boys played with them for three quarters, but they pulled away to win.”

Marauder Cole Leon had 16 points in the final. Ben Pollard had 10. Both were named tournament all-stars.
