The Pitt Meadows Marauders junior boys basketball squad took second place in the province, at the B.C. tournament

The Pitt Meadows Marauders junior boys basketball squad took second place in the province, at the B.C. tournament held at Vancouver College over the weekend.

Pitt entered the tournament as the Fraser Valley champs and the second seed, and lost a very close final 40-38 against Burnaby South.

On Friday they beat host Vancouver College 62-37 in the semi-final game. On Thursday they downed D.P. Todd of Prince George by a similarly lopsided score, 60-35.
