The Maple Ridge Ramblers badminton team travelled to Nanaimo over the spring break to participate in the Nanaimo Junior Invitational and had some excellent results.
U14 competition:
• boys singles, Allen Huang, first;
• boys doubles, Abolofazl Amiri and Jonathan Shang, second;
• girls doubles, Raingi Chow and Jinelle Ham, second;
• mixed doubles, Jon Guzman and Raingi Chow, second.
U16 competition:
• boys singles, Gabriel Lee, second;
• girls singles, Katrina Ratner, first; Pei-Tzu Wang, second;
• boys doubles, Gabriel Lee and Anvith Thudi, first; Allen Huang and Kiefer Wang, second;
• girls doubles, Alice Huang and Clara Yu, first; Pei-Tzu Wang and Sara Kuo, second;
• mixed doubles, Mythias Castres and Sara Kuo, first.
