The Maple Ridge Ramblers opened Grade 8 girls’ basketball league play at Garibaldi secondary on Tuesday with a 65-2 win over the host Rebels.
Kirsten Senchyna was a standout for the Rams with 16 points and seven steals. Taylor DeAdder added 12 points and six steals.
“The team has had a great start to the season,” said Maple Ridge coach Don Herman.
The Ramblers remain undefeated at 7-0, including 1-0 in league play.
They were to host the Westview Wildcats on Thursday.
