The Ridge Meadows Flames got their seventh straight win when they shot down the Chilliwack Jets in a 7-2 contest on Friday night at Cam Neely Arena.

Ryan Denney led the Maple Ridge Junior Bs with a goal and three assists, Craig Schouten scored twice, and Nicholas Amsler had a goal and two assists.

Denney and Amsler are once against tied atop the Pacific Junior Hockey League scoring race, each with 64 points in 35 games.

Jordan Kujala, Zack Lagrange and Brendan Chabot were the other scorers for Ridge.

“We’re starting to work harder, and be more physical and harder to play against, which I think is helping us out a lot on this win streak” said defenceman Sam Rose after the win.

The high-flying Flames haven’t scored less than four goals in any single game on their winning streak, and have won by an aggregate score of 44-14.

They now sit third in league standings with a record of 25-8-1-1.

They will look for their eighth straight win this Friday night at Cam Neely Arena, when they host the White Rock Whalers, who have gone 22-12-1-0 this season. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
