Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association’s U13 A1 Rustlers will be hosting teams from all over the province this march for the 2022 U13 Tier 1 BC Hockey Championships.
The championship, which is to be held from Mar. 19 to 23, will see the Rustlers play hosts to competing teams. However, to successfully host the championship, the team is seeking business sponsors and partnerships.
“This will be a great opportunity to promote your business while giving back to the community. If you know of a business or hockey supporter that would be interested please tag or share this post with them!” said a Facebook post from the association.

People will be able to support the team through either direct financial support, or an indirect financial support like through raffle prizes. Businesses will also be able to contribute in the form of promotional offers to their stores or products. Each player and their family will be receiving a welcome package where the association will include coupons for the business’s special offer.
Since the championships will draw in a large number of players, families and spectators to Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, it could mean an opportunity for businesses to promote their businesses.
The deadline to submit either an offer, a sponsorship request or to donate a raffle prize, is Mar. 4. For more details, people can visit: https://bit.ly/36rIWif.
