In community football action, the Ridge Meadows White Knights pulled off a 38-6 win over Chilliwack Blue.

Atom coach Clay Bowering gave a “shout out” to Zach Golab and Noah Berg for their great tackling, and also to Carston Doran and Justin Best, two first-year boys, for their strong running on offence.

• The Meadow Ridge bantams were victorious over the Valley Thunder by a score of 23-1.

The Knights got a touchdown on defence from Ciaran Davies, and then got more stops from the defence to keep the momentum going and force turnovers in the near shutout.

• The White Knights lost to Chilliwack Blue 8-6 in pee wee play.

“My defence played their hearts out, even with eight kids missing from the game due to various reasons,” said coach Bryan Bronswyk. “The defence scored the only touchdown and forced four turnovers.”
