The host Ridge Meadows Moose earned bronze at the B.C. juvenile hockey championships on the weekend.
The Moose went 3-1-1 in the round-robin portion at Planet Ice in Maple Ridge, but came up a point shy of qualifying for the gold-medal game.
However, that didn’t deter the host team from claiming bronze.
The Moose went out and defeated Juan de Fuca 6-4 Sunday to finish third.
Ridge’s only loss at the provincials was a 4-2 decision to the eventual champion from North Vancouver.
