Ridge Meadows Racers short track skaters raced in Mission earlier this month, with good results.
In Div. 1 Carina McDonald had personal bests all her distances.
Action in Div. 3 saw Tim Song and Tahlon Flamma with a personal best in their 1000m race.
In Div. 4 ,Annabelle Green saw a personal best in her 400 and she along with Shivani Bahdur, Lilah Croft, Amelia Janes and Stephania Kamagianis all personal bests in their 1000m races.
In Div. 5 Catalina Shupe, Aliyah Adomi, Willa Ludeman, Hailey and Piper Friesen all saw a personal best in their 200 and 1200m races. Both Sammy Green and Mackenzy Clark saw a personal best in her 200M. Jack Hayhoe and Shay Jones saw the most personal bests in the division in their 200, 400, and 1200m races.
In Div. 6 Zayda Jones achieved all pb’s in her races and Zahara Adomi saw personal best in her 200 and 400m races. Nathan Adomi saw a pb his 400m and Fin Ludeman in his 200m race. Isaac Janes saw had pb’s in his 200, 300 and 400m distances.
The Ridge Meadow Racers would like to invite the community to come and see some short track racing and celebrate the RBC Sports Day in Canada on Nov. 29.
The 2014 Jingle Bell Cup in Maple Ridge at Planet Ice was chosen by CBC to be one of the celebration sites. Throughout the meet photos and updates will be sent to CBC to report the events of the day.
