The annual Sunshine Charity Classic baseball game is scheduled for Sunday (April 6) at 2 p.m. at the Albion Sports Field in Maple Ridge.
Team Sunshine consists of a group of local dignitaries and Sunshine Volunteers, and will be led by Mayor “Windmill” Ernie Daykin. They will take on the “Mighty Pirates” a team of children with physical and mental challenges who live in the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows area.
In the event of rain, the match will be played at the Ridge Meadows Minor Softball indoor facility on River Road.
