Team Fister takes Movember bonspiel at GEWC

GEWC fundraiser bonspiel featured a hawaiian theme, complete with a luau and pig roast.

The Golden Ears Winter Club’s first ever Movember Charity Women’s Bonspiel is history, with Team Fister taking home the A-Level championship by knocking off Team King.

The fundraiser bonspiel featured a hawaiian theme, complete with a luau and pig roast.

“I couldn’t believe how many last rock or next to last rock finishes there were over the weekend,” said club manager Guy Shulz. “The last words I heard from one of the curlers on the way out was, I had so much fun. This was just a fun weekend.”
