U-14 rugby season commences next Sunday

Bring cleats and excitement to the first practice

Rugby season is back!

Ridge Meadows Bruins Rugby club is kicks off its training season next weekend, when U-14 boys can gain some initial training and have some fun on the field.

No experience needed – noted the coaches. Aspiring athletes are just asked to bring their cleats, mouthguards, water bottle, and their energy and excitement.

"Rugby is one of the best sports out there," said one parent. "Your little one will have so much fun, while building their character, gaining a sense of comradery and sportsmanship."

While training begins on Feb. 9 and 13, games don't start until April.

Practices are held on Sunday mornings, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., as well as Thursdays, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Telosky Stadium.

Once the season begins, games will take place on Sundays around the Lower Mainland kicking off at around 11a.m.

The club runs adult, various youth levels, and mini rugby teams.
