Proceeds from ticket sales for the upcoming Western Hockey League exhibition game between the Vancouver Giants and Victoria Royals at Planet Ice in Maple Ridge will go to support local hockey associations.
All money for tickets sold between now and Aug. 18 will be donated to the Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association and the Meadow Ridge Female Minor Hockey Association. Tickets for general admission are now on sale for $10 each plus service charges.
To purchase tickets online go to http://selectyourtickets.com/promo and enter the promotional code “Rustlers” or “Barracudas.” The promotional code will determine where the sale came from and forward the funds to the appropriate association.
The exhibition game takes place Saturday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m., and is expected to sell out. Doors will open at 2 p.m. on the day of the event.
