Maple Ridge Secondary hurrahs as cheer team wins first at provincials

MRSS won first place in the senior high intermediate division

Maple Ridge Secondary had a lot to cheer for in March, with the school’s cheerleading team bringing back gold from the BC Sport Cheer (BCSC) Provincials.

This event involved 40 teams from all over the province, with more than 2,600 athletes fighting their way to the top of the cheer pyramid. However, it was MRSS who emerged victorious.
