The Maple Ridge duo behind Click and Clown Company will be sharing their journey.

Donna and Jim Milburn will be hosting an afternoon of entertainment, while sharing their personal story, professional journey, and the passion behind the love of their work.

Jim began his clowning career in the early 1980’s while working for BC Children’s Hospital. They were looking for a clown for an event, and not only did Jim dress up, but so did Donna.

Their first paid event was the grand opening of the west Maple Ridge Dairy Queen 34 years ago, when Jim came up with his clown name “Dilly”, after the famous Dairy Queen ice cream bar.

They started their company in 2009, where they combined the art of clowning, photography, and balloon artistry.

The interactive presentation will have guests laughing at witty jokes, singing catchy tunes, and making their own balloon animals.

Embracing Laughter – The Key to Eternal Youth takes place from 1-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at the Maple Ridge Public Library, 22470 Dewdney Trunk Road.
