The Rotary Club of Haney and the Rotary Club of Meadow Ridge and its major sponsor Maple Ridge Chrysler,presented the fourth annual Duck Race on Labour Day.
The $10 lottery supports youth groups in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
On Aug. 31, 10,000 feisty rubber ducks were launched into the Alouette River at Maple Ridge Park to vie for the finish line. Roanne Viveiros won the grand prize - a brand new 2013 fiat pop hatchback.
The second prize - a week stay in Whistler - went to Amrit Bains.
The third prize - $1,00 gift certificate fromm Mark's Work Wearhouse - Matt Debruyn.
Fourth prize - a mattress package valued at $1,000 - Paula Meredith.
Fifth place - 2 rounds of golf for four people - Lanshin Han.
Sixth place - 32 inch flat screen - Phyllis Siu.
