A one-of-a-kind bubble tent in the middle of a Maple Ridge park will set the stage for a magical mime performance interweaving poetry, humour, and dance.
It is at sundown in the middle of Memorial Peace Park, the audience will be introduced to iconic loner Pierrot, who attempts to connect to the audience through his bubble in a presentation by Corpus called La Bulle – or The Bubble, in English.

La Bulle explores themes of social distancing, and the idea of private space in full transparency, in a piece that was conceived in 1997 – well before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Created by the dance company Corpus’ co-founders Sylvie Bouchard and artistic director David Danzon, the show features a combination of mime, dance, text, drawing, poetry, humour, and magic.
There have been more than 2,400 performances of La Bulle at both traditional and unusual locations across the country, and in 35 countries – six continents – around the world.
