The annual show brings together vendors from all over the province, selling products ranging from beauty items to kitchen supplies and much more.

There’s even a Mind, Body, and Spirit Psychic Fair, which offers readings, reiki demonstrations, and various other metaphysical products and services.

While many of the vendors inside have been regulars of the Ridge Meadows Home Show for years, others joined for the first time.

One of the newbie participants was Alison Molstad of Monat Global, which sells a variety of skincare and wellness products.

Molstad said she has been wanting to be a part of the Home Show for six years, and was finally granted the opportunity to do so this year.

Another newcomer was Hillside Honey Soaps – a Kamloops-based business that makes soap from goat milk.

It was given a particularly warm welcome to the show, winning the award for best new booth at the Home Show.

But outside of Planet Ice, there was even more going on at the Ridge Meadows Home Show, with a food truck festival, games, amusement park rides, and live entertainment all located right next door.

Included as part of Family Fest is a group of dancing dogs, led by Heather VanOene.

This booth located next to the Family Fest stage was home to four Dandie Dinmont Terriers, which they explained are an endangered breed of dog, with only 24 of these dogs existing within the entire province.

In addition to being very smart and well-tempered, they also explained that Dandie Dinmont Terriers are hypoallergenic, making them an ideal fit for most homes.

Whether it was from watching the dogs, riding the rides, or playing in the foam pit, screams of excitement could be heard all weekend.
