Rock and gem enthusiasts can head to the Maple Ridge Lapidary Club’s annual show taking place this weekend.

Hundreds of people are expected to turn out for the family friendly event.

The Maple Ridge Lapidary Club provides informal instruction and work space for rock, gem and fine arts such as silversmithing, stone carving, cabochon making, metal working, and enamelling.

The show will feature demonstrations by club members, more than 20 vendors featuring jewelry, stones, tools, and supplies – and metaphysical suppliers with stones and crystals.

Live auctions will be taking place over the weekend. Guests can participate in Crack a Geode, or free children’s crafts.
