If you are in the mood for some classic rock this weekend, you’ll be able to feed that craving with the sounds of Thunderstruck.
Performing for the past decade, Thunderstruck bills itself as “the premier AC/DC tribute on the market today.”
From Angus’ school boy outfit and signature Gibson SG guitar to a singer who sounds just like Brian Johnson and Bon Scott, you’d be forgiven for doing a double take.
The band’s awesome stage show includes pyrotechnics, ringing Hell’s Bells and cannon shots.
Their set covers the entire gamut of AC/DC’s career and features classics like Hells Bells, Thunderstruck, Touch Too Much and Girl’s got Rhythm.
• Thunderstruck plays the Haney Public House Friday, April 20. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 and include entry and a beverage if you arrive before 9 p.m. There will be prizes for the best costume.
