The Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Arts Council is pleased to bring Double Exposure: The History of Canada and Our Towns plus other hilarious stuff to the ACT.
Award-winning comic news team Linda Cullen and Bob Robertson are Double Exposure. Their weekly radio program was a huge success on CBC for more than a decade and Double Exposure, nominated for six Gemini Awards, also ran on CTV.
Robertson and Cullen, who are married and reside in New Westminster, have written humourous columns for many newspapers and comedy books and continue to write, produce, and perform in radio and television.
Their partnership began with a weekly radio comedy program on the CBC national radio network in February 1987 called “Double Exposure”. It ran for ten and a half very successful years with an average weekly audience of over 300 thousand listeners. During that time, Double Exposure was nominated three times for the Actra Radio awards (The Nellies) winning for Best Comedy Program.
