The PIGS are coming to town.
That is Canada’s most authentic Pink Floyd Tribute Act.
The “PIGS on the Wing show” will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Pink Floyd’s 1977 classic album Animals.
The concept album was one of the band’s most political statements and is a favourite of fans.
PIGS will be performing the album in its entirety, plus other songs from Pink Floyd’s legendary repertoire, including many that have rarely been performed live.
There will be lights, lasers, a giant screen and an authentic live sound, recreating the experience of seeing Pink Floyd live in the 1970s.
PIGS prides itself on making sure every last detail of the look, sound and feel of the era in music is perfect.
The tribute band will be returning to the ACT Arts Centre in Maple Ridge, 11944 Haney Place, at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 24.
