There is plenty of outdoor adventure to be found in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, whether you're into paddling or dropping from the sky.

Altair Aviation
Altair Aviation, located at Pitt Meadows Airport (130-11465 Baynes Rd. South), offers scenic aerial tours starting at $157/hour for up to three people.
Recommended trips include a loop of downtown Vancouver, Golden Ears Provincial Park, the shoreline of White Rock, a cruise up Indian Arm and a tour of the San Juan and Gulf Islands.
Altair also has a fleet of Cessna 172 aircraft available for rent at a rate of $115/hour.

Pacific Skydivers
The thrill of the fall can be found at Pitt Meadows' Pacific Skydivers, located at Pitt Meadows Airport (730-11731 Baynes Rd.).
Adventures range from beginner (in tandem with a trained professional) to experienced skydivers.
The organization works closely with the Canadian Sport Parachute Association and all instructors are certified. Enjoy your first or your 100th dive with them. Divers must be over the age of 18 and under 230 pounds.

Ayla Canoes
Open seven days a week, March 1 to Oct. 1, Ayla Canoes offers canoes and kayaks for rent at Grant Narrows Regional Park.
With your canoe, take a scenic ride through Pitt Lake and Widgeon Creek. The trip up Widgeon Creek can take between 45 and 90 minutes, and the same amount of time to hike to Widgeon Falls. Or, enjoy the pristine beauty of Pinecone Burke Provincial Park.
Rentals start at $52/day plus a refundable $20 deposit. A discount is available on cash payments.
Ayla Canoes is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.

Pitt Lake Wilderness Adventures
Owned and operated by the Katzie First Nation since July 2006, Pitt Lake Wilderness Adventures offers six fully-furnished wilderness cabins accessible only by water.
The site is located near the Pitt-Addington Wildlife Management Area, Pincone Burke Provincial Park, and Golden Ears Provincial Park.
Access is by boat only; PLWA offers a shuttle service across the Pitt River via Grant Narrows Park. Make arrangements at least 24 hours in advance.
