The first listening lounge is taking place at the ACT Arts Centre in Maple Ridge with a blend of blues, rock, and old-time country.

Eva Levesque, Lana Floen, Suzanne Levesque, and Keith Floen, make up the multiple award winning Travelling Mabels, billed as one of Alberta’s best musical exports.

The group are described as having tight harmonies and top-notch musicianship – in addition to an ability of making the audience feel like they are also part of the show by sharing stories about life on the road with them and cracking jokes.

Nominated for Country Music Alberta Album of the Year in 2022, the group will be returning to Alberta for a concert on Friday, Oct. 20, and for their rest of their tour, following the show in Maple Ridge.

The Listening Lounge Series is a cabaret-style experience that brings different musical genres together for a series of concerts.

The Travelling Mabels take to the stage at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29.

Tickets are $32.50 or $27.50, plus fees and can be purcahsed at theactmapleridge.org/travelling-mabels.
