This Friday night, Jan. 26, award-winning country band Jackson Hollow plays at The ACT.
Jackson Hollow is a four-time BC Country Music Association Traditional Country award-winning band that brings bluegrass, country, and folk sounds that can strikes a chord with people of all ages, backgrounds and musical tastes.
Their chart-topping 2021 debut album Travelin Heart has spawned singles on top-ten playlists across North America, and they will bring those hits and their newest tunes live to The Listening Lounge in Maple Ridge.
Lead vocalist and four-time BCCMA Award winner Tianna Lefebvre has performed with artists such as Shania Twain, Michelle Wright, and Russell DeCarle. CCMA and BCCMA Fiddle Player of the Year Mike Sanyshyn (fiddle, mandolin), holds four Provincial Fiddle Champion titles and a top-three placement at the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Championship. BCCMA-award winner Charlie Frie (upright bass, vocals) lays a soulful foundation for the band’s timeless harmonies, and JUNO nominee and Canadian Folk Music award winner Eric Reed (guitar, banjo) is a renowned multi-instrumentalist and producer/recording engineer.

“Jackson Hollow continues to impress my ears. This band is exemplary in every category… The vocal blend is as perfect as I have heard,” said Wendell Ferguson, Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame inductee.
Jackson Hollow’s show starts at 8 p.m., and is approximately two hours, with a 20-minute intermission.
The Listening Lounge Series is a casual cabaret-style experience that brings a variety of musical genres to hungry, curious ears. Gather around a table to meet new people, or connect with old friends, enjoy a small plate of nibbles and your favorite beverage to start the weekend off right.
