Get ready to laugh out loud with Canadian comedian Mary Walsh at the arts centre in Maple Ridge.
Walsh will be performing some of the best comedic bits and the most popular characters from Dancing With Rage, CODCO, and iconic television show This Hour Has 22 Minutes – in addition the most up-to-date to local political satire.
Walsh’s comedy is described as pointed and acerbic, insightful and hilarious. The comedian hails from Newfoundland and is also the recipient of The Order of Canada and the Governor General’s Lifetime Achievement Award in the Performing Arts.
She has played roles in more than 15 films and was nominated for two Genies for her performances in feature films Crackie an Official selection at TIFF, and New Waterford Girl.
Her work on This Hour Has 22 Minutes also garnered the actress numerous Gemini awards.

An Evening With Mary Walsh takes place at 8 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the ACT Arts Centre in Maple Ridge, 11944 Haney Place.
