Final Repair Cafe of 2023 comes to Maple Ridge Public Library

The 2023 Repair Cafe season is coming to an end as the Maple Ridge Public Library prepares to host the final session of the year.

The monthly events allowed hundreds of residents to get their beloved household items repaired at no cost thanks to the expertise provided by countless volunteers.

Anyone with damaged clothing, toys, small appliances, jewelry, or other household items, will have one more chance to get them fixed for free before the holiday season.

On Saturday, Nov. 18, the Repair Cafe will be returning to the Maple Ridge Public Library and will be joined by Museum on the Move, which will feature an assortment of Maple Ridge Museum artifacts and information.

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with no materials or reservation required. More information is available by contacting the event organizer Leanne Koehn at 604-463-5545.
