Locals can skate for free on Family Day in Pitt Meadows

Pitt Meadows Arena is inviting people of all ages to come spend the stat holiday on the ice as part of the upcoming Family Day Skate.

This free all-ages event will run from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, which is the Family Day statutory holiday for all those in B.C., Alberta, New Brunswick, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.

While admission is free during this time, regular skate and helmet rental rates will still apply.

Anyone interested in participating in the Family Day Skate can drop by the Pitt Meadows Arena, located at 11435 Bonson Rd.
