A 34-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed late Sunday in Maple Ridge.
The man was walking with a woman on Rosewood Street near Cook Avenue around 10:50 p.m., when he was attacked by a stranger.
Supt. Dave Walsh said the stranger stabbed the man before fleeing the area.
The man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators have little information on the suspects and are looking for witnesses to the stabbing or anyone who may have seen a man running from the area.
