The 2018 Pacific National Exhibition is underway and Maple Ridge residents are part of the action and are scooping up awards in agricultural events.
Ethan Atkinson, 11, with the Pitt River 4H Rabbit Club, won awards with Gunner, an American boar guinea pig and Piglet, an Abyssinian sow guinea pig, who won the Champion Cavy Sow at the 4H Barns at the 2018 Fair at the PNE.
Emily Christie, 17, also from Maple Ridge, with the Pitt River 4H Rabbit Club, won with her Reserve Champion Boar, Caramel, an American guinea pig.
