Question: Please provide an example of what you have done that qualifies you for council?

Answer: I was first elected to council in 1993. I have been a strong advocate for Pitt Meadows at the local, regional and provincial levels.  As our past chief administrative officer Jake Rudolph wrote when I left: “You are an anchor on council … Well prepared, well spoken, well connected.”

Q: Who is funding your campaign?

A: As in my previous six elections, I will fund my entire campaign.

Q: What makes you stand out from other candidates?

A: I listen to our citizens. I also have an unique mix of 17 years political experience, a strong educational background in community/citizen development and the business expertise to make ‘common sense’ decisions at the council table.

Q: How do you see your city developing in the next 10 years?

A: Pitt Meadows will see the completion and occupation of our industrial/business parks. Our focus on employment generation will bring “family sustaining” jobs. Our transportation gridlock at Harris Road and Lougheed Highway will resolve with improvements to the intersection in partnership with senior levels of government.

Q: What will be your top priority if elected to Pitt Meadows council?

A: To ensure tax dollars are utilized effectively to get the biggest bang for the buck. Effective and respectful relationships must be established with citizens, staff and senior levels of government to ensure the best results for our city.
