Vancouver police are investigating a double homicide after a man and a woman were found dead in a Marpole home and asking the public to be vigilant.
Police said 65-year-old Diana Mah-Jones and husband 68-year-old Richard Jones were killed at the home near West 64th Avenue and Hudson Street.

Const. Jason Doucette says investigators have not yet determined a motive for the killings, or whether it was targeted or random.
“There is nothing so far to suggest this was anything but a random crime. That’s why we are asking the public to look out for one another, and report anything suspicious to 9-1-1,” Doucette said in a statement.
Police were called to the home around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to check on the well being of the couple.
Meanwhile, a Kia Soul that police believe could be involved in the investigation was found parked and unoccupied last night at around 9:30 p.m. in south Vancouver.
Police have not confirmed if the vehicle has any link.
