The Ridge Meadows RCMP has located a missing Maple Ridge man and his dog after the two had suddenly disappeared for weeks.

Timothy Gorman, a 54-year-old Maple Ridge resident, was last seen by his friends on Monday, May 15, before leaving his home without a trace.

According to the RCMP, they were able to track Gorman’s recent cell phone data and put his whereabouts somewhere in the Harrison/Agassiz area.

“At this point, we aren’t sure if Mr. Gorman simply went on a trip without advising anyone, but police and his friends and family are requesting he check-in,” said Staff Sgt. Michelle Luca when they announced Gorman had gone missing on May 26.

Ridge Meadows RCMP reported that Gorman’s dog – a large white German Shepherd – was also missing.

Luckily, Gorman was able to be located on May 29 and was reported to be in a safe condition, according to Ridge Meadows RCMP.
