Emergency crews responded to reports of a stabbing in downtown Maple Ridge Tuesday afternoon.
The call came in for a stabbing at in the 22400-block of 121 Avenue just after 1 p.m.
Emergency crews were being deployed.
A man apparently in his 30s was taken out of an apartment building on a stretcher. He was conscious and sitting upright. He was taken away by ambulance.
Friday, a young man was taken to hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds in Pitt Meadows.
According to Ridge Meadows RCMP, he was recovering in hospital.
Police do not have a suspect in custody.
Ridge Meadows RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit is investigating that incident.
