Ridge Meadows RCMP are trying to figure out the history of a shot gun discovered early Tuesday by a passer-by.
The shot gun was found in a bag in central Maple Ridge. Police wouldn't say if the shotgun was loaded or not and are trying to determine if was used in a recent crime or stashed there.
Nothing else was found in the bag. Police didn't want to disclose where it was found.
